The main building of Takinami came from the former residence of the village's headman who lived there 300 years ago during the Edo period. We moved and rebuilt this building into a traditional hotel. Our main purpose is to preserve Japan's traditional buildings. We constantly work hard to maintain this ancient construction so that our guests can remember the soul of Japanese architecture. Please enjoy the nostalgic Japanese atmosphere of our hotel, centered around our 300 year old main building. The atmosphere is enhanced by the warm light of many modern lamps spread throughout the building. Every morning guests can eat as much freshly-made Mochi ( rice cake ) as they like, in a variety of flavours. Try it once; this is our speciality. We are looking forward to your visit.
