port, carriages carrying foreigners was a common sight here, thus
giving it the name Bashamichi (Horse-drawn Carriage Street). Passing
through the iron arch with a carriage emblem, you are welcomed by
a variety of historical buildings and restored gas lights reminiscent

to Japan1s maritime history; a display of the routes that boats
took to carry people, materials and culture to other parts of the
world after the Meiji era. Enjoy videos and a large-scale replica
of a 1920's luxury liner in the magnificent building that was once
the historic Yokohama branch office of the shipping company NYK

amphitheater style multipurpose stadium in Japan, opened in April,
