This hotel was remodeled in March, 2008. It is a designer Onsen Ryokan ( Japanese traditional inn ) with an ocean view. After passing through the entrance which contains decorative lighting, you come upon a private hideout. The guest rooms come in a variety of styles, such as the main building pursues modernity and the annex that quietly stands in the purely Japanese garden. The cuisine can be chosen per guest between creative Kaiseki ( tea-ceremony ) cuisine and a creative French cuisine both using seafood freshly caught in Izu.
