Driving Permit (Licence)
You will be required to posess a valid driving licence below;
  • International Driver's Permit based on the Geneva Convention of 1949
  • Domestic Driver's Licence
  • Passport
  • Major Credit Card
Driving rule in Japan
  • Cars drive on the left side of the road.
  • The driver should be older than 18 years of age.
  • Drinking and driving is strictly prohibited.
Other information
  • Non-Operation Charges(NOC) will apply as part of the compensation for loss of use which will arise out of non-usability of the rented car during the repairing or cleaning period in the following cases and if the Rent-A-Car company is not responsible for cases below;
    • Traffic accident
    • Theft
    • Broken down
    • Scratches etc.
